Yes! God is in my business! What about you? I wouldn’t dare operate without him! I have learned to pray and ask for his guidance before I make critical decisions. Years ago, I relied upon my own understanding and intelligence. Not any more! I now realize that I am not a “know it all!” Making business decisions with God‘s guidance is assurance that if you slip or get lost, he will put you back on track. When you step on his escalator (which moves you automatically), your feet will land in the path that God has directed. Oh yes, I walk with God, and keep him in all aspects of my business – personal and professional. Keeping God in – keeps the enemy out! What a magnificent shield and safeguard! As Psalm 24:1 says: “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him.” He has the whole world in his hands including you, me, our businesses, and workplaces! Now then, if you choose to do something different, don’t question me because “it’s none of your business that I run all of my business through the Lord!” . We have heard time and time again that "Age ain't nothing but a number." Renowned Motivation Speaker Les Brown says, "If you forget your years, your years will forget you."

Listen up, never give up, look up, and get inspired!

Marian Wright Edelman, President of the Children's Defense Fund, coined the expression - "You can't be what you can't see." That expression is "true for all of us — we rely on stories, examples, leaders or, in the purest, most basic form, images that inform us about who we are and what our potential is, and without these, we are left unaware and unable to be that which we cannot see." It is for that reason that it is important for young Black children, in particular, to see Black people across the career spectrum so that they can see, aspire, dream and prepare for what they desire to become ... and realize that it is possible.
