There is one word that we should not use loosely. That word is - friend! These days, I have become very selective about who I call friend. Age, maturity, wisdom, and outcomes give you discernment on the true definition of the word. The definition of a true friend even kicks up the meaning to a higher level. Know who's with you. Be careful, discerning, and selective so that you're not overly disappointed with the results particularly if who you thought would be there for you fails to show up!

I can't believe I fell for it! I have observed this person's actions many times before. Silly me! Why did I not think that the wrath would eventually flow in my direction? I was completely naïve. I certainly knew better. Who would have thought that I fell for the obvious? Has this ever happened to you? This is precisely what happens when we give people too much credit and let our guards down - even if it's just for a hot second. We have to remember that no one is immune or exempted from unfairness even if you know the hand that throws the blow. Alrighty now - Get with the program. Grow up. Smell the coffee. Remember the scriptural counsel that says it all. "Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there." (Ps 146:3) They'll disappoint you every time. Trust only in The Lord.

To my female followers, do know this - Our roles as teachers can never be underestimated. We are the backbones to our family's learning and development. When God created us, he gave every family member (fathers/husbands, mothers/wives, children) all specific roles, duties, and responsibilities. Women shoulder a great responsibility to teach, educate, and show the way. It is a coveted role that carries great weight. When we do our part, we become the capable woman that is described in Proverbs 31. Existing and future generations are depending upon us! Lastly, there is never a day of rest ...as our jobs have no expiration or retirement dates. Blessings!
