Yesterday is gone. You cannot get it back no matter how hard you try. Learn from your past. Take the good with the bad. Don't dwell on yesterday. Keep moving; keep growing. Live in the moment. Maximize the time that you have today. Put it to good use. Make the best of it. Don't become a "Wish I had done it person." Do it. Dream, Live, Laugh, Love, Enjoy!

Allow me to tell you a story. Here goes...

An old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life. Prophetically, he tells him a story about two wolves.

"A fight is going on inside me, he said to the boy. It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil - he is full with anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. The other is good - he is full of joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. This same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too. The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, Which wolf will win. The old Cherokee simply replied, The one you feed."

Truly, what we internally fed our souls determines who we are; it determines our character!

The African Proverb - If you escaped from the lion's den, why go back has a thought provoking meaning. Think about it! In the pursuit of our dreams, don't confuse a brave act with a brainless act. If you have managed to overcome a big challenge, why chase after little things that will lead you back down that dangerous path? We don't always have second chances. That's why we must optimize the chances that we get” as we exercise good judgment; minimize risks; maximize opportunities! A hint to the wise is very simple - Don’t go back if you successfully got out!
