”Friendships are born in a million different ways, and all good friends strive to achieve the same goal: to be a source of love and support. Finding a true friend feels like a gift that keeps on giving, even when they are thousands of miles away. Through it all, your best friends have been there by your side. A listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, or finding the silver lining in a less than ideal situation — all of it means the world to you simply knowing you have your friends supporting you every step of the way.“To my friends, do know that I appreciate and love you dearly. As my best friend, I credit you with bringing out the best in me! Returning the favor, I am hopeful that I do the same for you.

The admonition to walk a mile in someone else’s shoes means before judging someone, you must understand his/her experiences, challenges, thought processes, etc. The full idiom is: Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. In effect, it is a reminder to practice empathy. This plea for empathy is to put yourself in his or her shoes.

Truly, it is only then that you will understand their situation. Stop judging. Start understanding. See life from their perspective. Have compassion. It will make you a better person … every step of the way!

Losers. You've heard the term before, I'm sure! Exactly what/who is a loser? "A real loser is somebody who is so afraid of not winning, they don’t even try.” The definition continues. A loser is someone who does not trust, love, and respect others. For our purposes, we think not about losers, but winners. We play to win, to be successful at the outcomes that we choose. We realize that we are what we think! So get your mind together. We can rise above the odds of failure. Forget about losing. We will position ourselves to win! It's a much better alternative!
