Continuing our celebration of Black History Month, we listen to Glory. This title song from the movie Selma, won an Oscar for Common and John Legend. The song's messaging shows that God is always in control.

At all times, we must give glory to God. It is from God that all of our blessings flow. Psalm 115:1 tells us about his glory. It reads -

“Not to us, O Lord, not to us,

But to Your name give glory

Because of Your lovingkindness, because of Your truth.”

Glory be to his name!

Glory Hallelujah!

Happy Sunday! Blessings!

The musically talented Joshua Nelson performed "How I got over" at the Stockholm Gospel Festival. Mahalia Jackson performed this song along with "I've been buked and I've been scorned" at the 1963 March on Washington. Music is a universal form of communications that transcends race. Music has the unlimited powers that knows no boundaries as the lyrics and rhythm of the beat stimulates our soul. As we listen to this soulful rendition, let's get up off of our feet, clap our hands, sing along, and give praises and thankfulness to the Almighty Father for his goodness. Amen.

Happy Sunday! Blessings!

The late great Evangelist Billy Graham said: “The reason I like 'How Great Thou Art' is because it glorifies God. It turns Christian's eyes toward God, rather than upon themselves. I use it as often as possible because it is such a God-honoring song.” Today, we need The Lord right by our side every minute of the day. We need your love, mercy, and grace Heavenly Father. As we honor you and give our thanks to you Lord this Sunday morning, we utter the words - How Great Thou Are - of this great hymn as they majestically flow through our soul. To God be the glory! Happy Sunday! Blessings!
