And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and love your

neighbor as yourself.” Luke 10:27

Saying you love someone is easy. It’s a mere utterance of words. Showing someone that you love them goes beyond lip service. It requires actions. If we can show love to others, we are doing exactly what God desires. The love starts with loving God in all things with your heart, mind, and soul. Our love for The Lord makes it easier to love your neighbor. It takes total commitment! It takes knowing that The Lord will never leave you or forsake you. It takes faith!

Being in business is challenging. Being a spiritual small business owner is even more challenging. You will inevitably be faced with daily situations that challenge your faith. Thus, the following 14 Bible Verses according to small business expert, Melinda Emerson are ones that we as spiritual and Christian entrepreneurs should read and keep handy.

Philippians 3:13-14 .

Deuteronomy 8:18

1 Peter 4:10

2 Corinthians - 13:5-6

Matthew 6:14-15

Isaiah 45:2

Joshua 1:9

Mark 5:36

1 Peter 5:8

3 John 1:2

Proverbs 29:11

Romans 8:5

Ephesians 6:12

Proverbs 2:6-8 - "For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.”

Keep in mind that God gives us the gifts, abilities, and knowledge to make smart business decisions that can produce successful outcomes. We must keep examining our actions so that we employ wisdom, integrity, and honesty in our business decisions. Yes, God's Word is still the best guide to use in our daily lives ...and of course, we can’t beat the admonition that it provides in our business/professional decisions!

Kirk Franklin in this song, Love Theory, tells us how important our love for God is!

We show God how much we love him in the things that we do/say. Our obedience to his Word demonstrates our love! Truly, all of our actions and words demonstrate our love and respect for The Most High. As the singers point to the sky and utter these simple but powerful words, ”I don’t want to love nobody but you,” we realize that our love for God and his unwavering/unconditional love for us is truly the greatest love of all! Thank you Lord for your love, grace, protection, and covering for my love ones and me. I am truly grateful! Hallelujah!

Happy Sunday! God bless!
