True.

Life throws us curve balls. Some we catch; others, we miss.

Sometimes, we stand. Sometimes, we get knocked down. But a Saint is just a sinner who fell down and got up. Every day, we should be thankful that God lifted us; thankful that he gave us a second chance; thankful for his mercy and grace; thankful for our comeback!

God is gracious In granting second chances. It has been said that ...

“We can’t run out of second chances…only time.

Every moment of your life is a second chance.

If God gave you a second chance…don’t waste it.

You’ve never gone too far that God can’t redeem you, restore you, forgive you, and give you a second chance.”

God granted second chances and forgiveness to Jonah, to Samson ... to you and me!

2 Peter 3:9 tells us that “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”

Oh what a mighty God we serve!

Happy Sunday and Blessings!

As for me, “I can do all things through God who strengthens me!” Amen. Happy Sunday! God bless! Photo credit: www.biblestudytools.org

I share with you inspiring words that have lifted me up many, many times. I have found solace as I believe you will.

Footprints in the Sand

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.

In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only. This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of

footprints, so I said to the Lord, “You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?” The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.” I say, “Thank you Lord for walking with me; for picking me up; for guiding me; for being by my side even when I knew not; for carrying me when I was weak; for never leaving me! Thank you Lord for your everlasting love, grace, and mercy!” We don’t have to wait until Sunday to show thankfulness and gratitude when we are blessed everyday. Today is just as good as any!
