COMMUNICATION PROBLEMS

Did you hear the message? Admittedly, we really are selective listeners. Sometimes, we hear what we want to hear and block out what we don't. Do we hear the words, but miss the meaning? Do we become too anxious to reply whereby our concentration is dwarfed more toward our reply than toward our understanding of what was really said? So as not to have the message lost in translation and miss the true meaning, it is necessary that we be attentive and stay in tune. So listen up and pay attention which is the only way to verify that you actually - heard what you heard.

HAZ EL BIEN Y NO MIRES A QUIEN

Here I go again speaking in Spanish. So I say to you today - Haz el bien y no mires a quien … which translated in English means - Do good, and don’t look at whom. This Spanish proverb encourages us to do what we think is right, no matter what people think. Let your conscience guide you. For certain, you will feel better when you do what is good and right than the alternative. This is true whether we say the words in English, French, Spanish, or any language! Doing good things is a good thing!

PLAN YOUR WORK. WORK YOUR PLAN.

My project plan is right here by my side. I may not timely accomplish all tasks, but I outline them so that I can know what I'm doing. From the minute I wake, my first order of business is to thank The Lord for another day of life for my children, loved ones, and me. As I travel through the day, I am very task driven. Writing my daily blog, answering emails, attending Team meetings, performing miscellaneous work related tasks, etc., become the order of the day. I do have those lazy days. Some days I don't feel like doing anything; some things I delegate or reassign. There are even some tasks that I like everyone else put on the back burner. Let's not forget procrastination. Everyone has ideas on how they plan to use my time. You catch my drift; right? It happens. But if you have that roadmap before you, you will accomplish more than without. it. We all need to be motivated from time to time. therefore, it is essential that you Plan your work. Work your plan.
