Shenanigans! Game playing! Aren't you tired of those individuals who pose as "innocent" when they are really - troublemaking perpetrators. They are the best of the worst. They will pick your emotional pockets if you let them. You as I know them all too well! These so-called unethical chameleons can convincingly tell a lie without blinking an eye. If you want confusion, straight shooters they are! So treacherous they are, that the good folks avoid them and walk away. Aren't you sick of them? Of course you are! It’s high time that we did something about it! Wait a minute! Sometimes, we need help. We can’t always do it alone! Let’s call in an enforcer. Gunsmoke's Marshall Matt Dillon would be the first on my dial. Matt dIdn’t take no mess! His imposing “6’6” gap leg walk” and no nonsense demeanor could successfully deal with this scheming conniving group. Dillon would rock ‘em in their boots! Yes sir! “Lock them up Sheriff. Throw away the keys, particularly if they don't stop their monkeyshine.” Now that the job is done, we'll have a drink with you and Miss Kitty in the saloon! Beers, anyone?

Double standards eventually present conflict and problems. Normally, they are classified as hypocritical. Are you a "Do what I say: not what I do" type? Bottom line: Don't expect what you are not willing to give/do. It simply doesn't add up. As the bankers say, "You can't take out more than you deposited.” Literally, what is good for a male goose is equally good for a female goose. Said differently, what is good for one person should be equally as good for another person. The variances in treatment for the same actions are usually what present the problems. That is why, equal standards/applications work every time. Consistency is the better choice. It always pays off!

"Keep putting out good. It will come back to you ten fold in unexpected ways."

To take the high road is "to choose the most noble, ethical, or diplomatic course or method, especially after or in the face of negativity or ill treatment. It is suggested that we strive to always take the high road when dealing with others, even if they've treated us unfairly in the past. Life has a habit of rewarding those who learn to turn the other cheek. If someone takes the high road, they choose the course of action which is the most moral or acceptable and which is least likely to harm or upset other people." It may be easier said than done particularly in adversity and when you have been wronged. You have to choose. I remember the old folks in Mississippi telling us, "Hard times don't last always. This too will pass." You have to search your heart, let your conscience be your guide, and do the right thing... as ultimately you will live with your decisions. Sometimes, you just have to be the bigger person! With that being said, which road will you take?
