BEAUTY IS ONLY SKIN DEEP

The phrase "beauty is only skin-deep," means that while someone may be beautiful on the outside, their inner self - (character and what's inside) - is what counts. If their character lends itself to being disrespectful, deceitful, unkind, uncaring, not loving, distrustful …., it really doesn't matter how attractive their outer appearance is. Right? Truly, beauty lies within. The longer you live, the more apparent that fact becomes. People like books can't be judged by their covers!
