"If not now, when? If not me, who?" is

a call to immediate action and personal responsibility. The full, original quote focuses on self-care, helping others, and urgency.  It emphasizes that one should not wait for others to act or for a better time; it is a plea to take responsibility now.  It is used as a powerful motivator for taking personal initiative and preventing the postponement of important, necessary actions.” This brings me to my longstanding phrase, “If it is to be, it’s left up to me!” Sure, some days it feels as if you’re in a pressure cooker with the temperature on high. But we have to have the resilience, keep pushing, and recharge our batteries for the time … to act, to move, to help ourselves and others, to make a difference … is NOW!
