PATIENCE

By Vernalee

Hot tempers cause arguments, but patience brings peace.” Proverbs 15:18 “Patience is defined as

the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset.

Having patience is the quality of being patient, as the bearing of provocation, annoyance, misfortune, or pain, without complaint, loss of temper, irritation, or the like. an ability or willingness to suppress restlessness or annoyance when confronted with delay.

The proverb - patience is a virtue means that it is a good quality to be able to tolerate something that takes a long time.“

So if being impatient describes you, patiently take heed to this admonition herein. Your impatience will not change the outcome. It will however cause stress on many things that are out of your control.

There is an  African Proverb that states - patience can cook a stone. “The basic meaning of this proverb is: With patience and restraint, one can solve even the most. difficult.” Why stress over something that you cannot change? Therefore, the golden two words are -Be still. Exercise patience!
