I remember how this song had my Mother's church in Mississippi rocking as if the building had been lifted from its foundation. With a singing pastor, Rev. Addison, who had a raspy voice like James Cleveland, he would “juice” up the lyrics as he led before the choir chimed in. After the song, his sermon spoke about transformation. Yes, your life changes when you place God front and center.
2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." Oh yes- he's worthy to be praised! So this Sunday morning - Let the church say Amen!
