DON'T ASSUME THAT YOUR FRIEND IS MINE'S

By Vernalee

A one way friend is a term not to be discounted. There is such a thing. Friends are not necessarily transferable. My friend may not be yours and vice versa. Compatibility is a huge factor in friendships. Be careful who you let inside your circle. Every one who's in may not be there to stay. There are conditions that determine duration. Under no circumstance should you play matchmaker with your friends (i.e. trying to make your friend someone else's). Let your friends pick their own friends just as you picked yours. What works for you friendship wise may not work for someone else. There are different strokes for different folks. Lastly, keep a friend's personal business to yourself. If they want your friend who is not theirs to know their business, let them share the news.
