By definition, the phrase 'No good deed goes unpunished' is a "sardonic commentary on the frequency with which acts of kindness backfire on those who offer them. In other words, those who help others are doomed to suffer as a result of their being helpful." Though cynical about the phrase, I will stay on my path to help others whenever I can. I feel better when I do. Don’t you? Doing good things and being helpful have their advantages. Besides, that is my reward to myself! Being rewarded or recognized by others have never been the reason that I do what I do! ”Helping others is the first step in making the world a better place and improving the lives of others. It also brings about a wealth of benefits and satisfaction for those who choose to do so.” Happiness is one of them!
