Weighing the Pros and Cons of a decision is critically important. Often times, taking a sheet of paper, putting the pros on one side of sheet and the cons on the other side become substantial to assist you in making an intelligent decision. Seeing it in black and white is very telling. If the cons outweigh the pros, it probably should be a "pass." If the pros lead the score, orchestrating the moves to gear up is optimal. The math is simple. Good judgment never hurts. Testing the waters beforehand and making informed decisions save a lot of grief. I have learned over the years to pray before I take a step. That extra cushion of spiritual guidance helps me. Try it and see!
